  1.         The DATAPATH MS WINDOWS V3.0 driver

  4.     There are four different driver versions with different colour
  5.     and palette capabilities:-
  6.  
  7.         Dithered Colours
  8.         16 Colours
  9.         256 Colours
  10.         256 Colours with System Palette capability
  11.  
  12.     The last driver allows windows to set the hardware palette on the 
  13.     Q2000 board.

  16.             Installation
  17.             ============

  19.     If you haven't installed windows before for another graphics board,
  20.     you must make a copy of the windows disk 1 and copy our supplied
  21.     SETUP.INF to it, before continuing with the general installation.
  22.  
  23.     If you have already installed windows, copy our supplied SETUP.INF
  24.     to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  You may want to save your
  25.     previous copy of SETUP.INF before doing this.  When you have the
  26.     modified copy of SETUP.INF in the system directory, then install
  27.     the driver using setup as in the general installation.

  30.     General Installation
  31.     ====================
  32.     Before you run setup, as it will switch to the Q2000 screen part way
  33.     through, the board must be installed in your computer and the
  34.     following done:-

  36.      The Datapath Q2000 initialization program Q2INIT must be run
  37.      to initialize the Q2000 board otherwise Setup & Windows will fail
  38.      to work.  The Datapath Q2000 hardware characteristics driver QPCHW
  39.      must be installed when you start up your computer system.

  41.     Run setup to complete the installation, feeding it our disk when
  42.     prompted.
